Facebook - Get Together

 

Many people associate Facebook with passively scrolling in Newsfeed. What they often don’t realize is that millions of people use Facebook as a way to connect in real-life. Often times, what starts with a group or event on the Facebook app ends with a community of people, spending time together.

With this ‘Get Together’ campaign, we set out to show people that the best part of Facebook doesn’t happen on Facebook.

Featured Real People From Real Groups

Every ad in our campaign featured real Facebook Groups, Events and stories. We captured people together in their element, whether that was in a ballet studio, on a street corner, or paddling down a river.

Promoted Local Facebook Events and Groups

 

Our on-platform ads promoted real events and group gatherings happening in the cities where they ran. Each one functioned as literal invitation to get together in real life.

Get Together - Event Series

 

The campaign culminated in three Facebook sponsored
‘Get Togethers’. The largest one happened at Fenway part in Boston, bringing over 5 thousand people together for a day at the
historic Baseball Stadium.
